I had a busy weekend with plans to go to Oelwein on my days off, so my parents were nice enough to watch the dogs for a long weekend.
Usually when I leave the dogs with my mom and dad, it’s because I’m going out of town. It was so weird being at home for those four days without the dogs!
I was able to clean the house on Saturday (I even washed Cubbie and Teddy’s food dishes), and the house is still clean! That is unheard of. Typically, Teddy drags his toys back out less than five minutes after I put them away.
I was so excited to pick the boys up on my days off, but I know they had a great time. They spend lots of time enjoy my parents’ backyard with the very comfortable, beautiful fall weather we’re having.
After spending the afternoon in Oelwein, we headed back home. We got home, ate supper, and the boys were down for the count. I had to carry them to bed, and they slept straight through until the morning!
